Corporate Partner/Affiliate Exclusive: Understanding Portfolio Management: Building and Governing Successful Portfolios
Successful portfolio management is more than selecting projects - it is a structured approach to ensuring that organisational investment delivers strategic outcomes.
Building on the concepts introduced in the first webinar, this session explores how portfolio management works in practice. We will examine the portfolio management cycle, how portfolios are constructed and categorised, and the approaches used to prioritise competing initiatives. We will also explore the role of governance in supporting informed decision-making and maintaining alignment between strategy and delivery.
Whether you are new to portfolio management or looking to strengthen your understanding of its practical application, this webinar will provide an accessible overview of the core processes that help organisations invest in the right change, allocate resources effectively and maximise the value delivered by projects and programmes.
This session will be uploaded to the Corporate Hub - please reach out to partnerships@apm.org.uk if you need access or more information.
