This initial welcome meeting will bring together existing and prospective Association for Project Management members on the Isle of Man. The session will provide an opportunity for attendees to meet one another, understand the current APM presence locally, and discuss what members and project professionals would like from an Isle of Man APM membership offer.

The meeting will be informal and collaborative, with a focus on listening to attendees, understanding local priorities, and identifying how APM can best support professional development, networking, knowledge sharing and future events on the island. 

Feedback gathered during the session will help shape future APM activity on the Isle of Man and ensure it reflects the needs and interests of the local project management community.

This event is intended to establish and strengthen the Association for Project Management community on the Isle of Man by bringing together existing members, prospective members and those with an interest in project management. The meeting will provide an opportunity for attendees to be introduced to one another, share their experience and interests, and discuss what they would value from local APM activity and membership support.

The session will focus on gathering views from members and local project professionals to help inform the future direction of APM activity in the Isle of Man. Discussion may include preferred event topics, networking opportunities, professional development needs, support for qualifications and chartership, and how APM can provide value to individuals and organisations working in project, programme and portfolio management locally.

Attendees will have the opportunity to contribute to shaping future local events and activities, build connections with others in the project profession, and help identify the support, learning and engagement opportunities that would be most beneficial to the Isle of Man project management community.
