This visit is an opportunity to see how Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) manage their daily operations from their Operational Control Centre (OCC).

Visit the Operational Control Centre, the hub of Greater Manchester’s transport network, to see how TfGM monitors and manages transport operations in real time. Located near Piccadilly Station, the centre oversees bus, tram and highway networks, using live CCTV, traffic data and transport updates to keep the city moving. Visitors will gain an insight into how teams coordinate incident response, manage passenger information, and work closely with transport operators and emergency services to ensure safe, efficient and reliable journeys across the region.

This tour will be lead by Charlie Tattersall, Control Centre Manager & Drone Accountable Manager.
